1.Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, high Street

This remarkable mausoleum is dedicated to Ghana’s first President and a prominent leader in African Politics who was voted African of the century by the BBC.

2.Makola Market

Accra’s oldest, dynamic commercial hub. It is certainly one of the most entertaining.
Carry a shopping bag and walk in and out of the market. You can get almost about anything. Fresh local produce from all parts of Ghana are brought here for sale. It is busiest on Saturdays at 3pm. It is a busy place enjoyable witness the hustling.

3. La Pleasure Beach

It’s the busiest beach on Ghana’s Coast, arguably the Gulf of Guinea. Has some fine bars and restaurants.
The many aligned beach umbrellas make a picturesque one to show off.
There are many outlets sellings kebabs and grills. There is live music, arts and culture.

4.Black Star Gate

This monument comes with a little garden also known as Independence Square. A public area boarded by the Accra Sports Stadium.

5.James Town Light House

This colonial era lighthouse was built in the 1930s. If you tend to catch a great view of the city’s busy and compelling fishing harbor head to the top of this old lighthouse close to James Fort.
